1. Explore the Gatlinburg Strip
Among the best things to do with family in Gatlinburg is heading out into town to explore the Gatlinburg strip! This pedestrian-friendly street has tons of interesting shops, attractions, restaurants, and more that you can check out while you are here in town. Our Gatlinburg hotel is just a short distance from the strip, making it an easy stop while you are staying with us here in town. Plus, you can take advantage of the convenient and free Gatlinburg trolley, which has a stop right near our hotel!
2. Visit the Gatlinburg Space Needle
If your family wants to take in the views of the Smoky Mountains, stop by the Gatlinburg Space Needle for stunning panoramic sights! Here, you will be able to ride the elevator up to the top of the 400-foot observation tower where you can take some excellent family photos, admire the views, and spend quality time together.
3. Walk Across the SkyBridge
Another of the best things to do with family in Gatlinburg is to walk across the SkyBridge — which holds the record for being the longest pedestrian cable bridge in all of North America! To get to the SkyBridge, you will first ride the SkyLift up to the mountaintop, where you can see the entire town and the surrounding mountains. Once you are at the top, you will be able to walk across the SkyBridge, check out the glass-bottom middle, and see other sights like the Tulip Tower.
