It allows you to take a break from the sun and heat in the warmer months but also gives you the option for still being able to swim during the cooler months. Adults and children will enjoy being able to get a chance to exercise but also relax and enjoy their time at our hotel. The hot tub that’s included is always nice, but it’s even more enjoyable after a snowy day hike in the Great Smoky Mountains National Park or time on the slopes at Ober Gatlinburg.
A Staycation During Your Vacation
A vacation in the Smoky Mountains is always fun and exciting but if you’re staying for a full week and pack your itinerary full, it can also get a little tiresome. During your stay with us consider taking a day to have a little staycation within your vacation. Plan a simple outing after you fill up on our complimentary breakfast and then head back to the hotel after lunch to relax and spend the day with us. It will save you some money and you’ll be recharged for the next day. Spending part of your day relaxing at our indoor pool is the perfect way to keep the children entertained while also enjoying some down time for yourself. Take a break in the afternoon when we serve fresh baked cookies, warm up by the fireplace or our outdoor fire pits and then wrap up the day with another dip in the pool. You can even complete the night with family movie time by an in-rooom fireplace in Our King Suite.

Families do love spending time at our indoor pool during their stay, but that’s just a bonus to the many perks of staying with us. Our hotel is located next to the Gatlinburg spur, placing us between both downtown Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge. We’re in a location that allows guests to access the top family attractions in the area within just a short drive or ride on the city trolley. Free downtown parking passes are available to guests. upon request, as well as the opportunity to purchase a $2 daily pass for the trolley for unlimited rides. The trolley stop is located in our parking lot and parking is always free here at The Appy Lodge. Ripley’s Davy Crockett Mini-Golf is just steps from our front door as well.
