The Melting Pot is world-famous for its delectable chocolate fondue! When you have dessert at this popular restaurant on the Parkway, you can share a pot of rich, melted chocolate with your sweetheart, family members, or friends. The fondue is served with a variety of fresh fruits, brownies, blondies, cookies, cakes, marshmallows, and other treats that are perfect for dipping.

Guests can choose from a number of chocolate fondue flavors. Some of the most popular options include Chocolate S’mores (milk chocolate melted with marshmallow cream and graham cracker crumbs), Choccocino (milk chocolate melted with espresso), and Yin & Yang (a blend of dark chocolate and white chocolate). Aunt Mahalia’s Candies also makes some of the very best dessert in Gatlinburg. Located inside the Mountain Mall, this candy company has been an institution in the Smoky Mountains since 1939! Aunt Mahalia’s has stood the test of time because it still prepares all of its sweets the old-fashioned way, using tried-and-true techniques and the finest ingredients available.

Aunt Mahalia’s is well-known for its peanut butter fudge, which has developed something of a cult following in Gatlinburg. Other popular treats at the shop include the caramel apples, rock candy, chocolate covered cherries, pralines, peanut brittle, pecan log, and divinity.

3. The Peddler

The Peddler is Gatlinburg’s premier steakhouse, but its deserts are just as good as its charcoal-grilled steaks. The standout item on the dessert menu is undoubtedly Kristi’s Chocolate Cake, which is served warm with vanilla ice cream and hot fudge. Be warned: the dessert portions are extremely generous, and Kristi’s cake can easily feed two, if not three, people.

While Kristi’s cake is a must for chocoholics, guests who are looking for something different will love The Peddler’s hot blackberry cobbler, which comes with vanilla ice cream. Other wonderful desserts at The Peddler include the Key lime pie, Kahlua creme brulee, peanut butter mud pie, and the New York cheesecake.

A meal at No Way Jose’s Cantina simply isn’t complete without trying one of their signatures postres. This excellent Mexican restaurant offers a number of unique desserts that you don’t see every day. A highlight of the dessert menu is the Churro Grande Sundae, which features fresh churro sticks, vanilla bean ice cream, chocolate mousse, raspberry sauce, whipped cream, and chocolate and caramel drizzles. Other irresistible sweets at No Way Jose’s include the fried ice cream and the caramel flan with grilled pineapple.
