Celebrate the joys of the holiday season this year by attending the Lights Over Gatlinburg event at Gatlinburg SkyPark! This festive event is sure to get you into the holiday spirit with thousands of Christmas lights, a massive Christmas tree and stunning views of downtown Gatlinburg! You’ll even get to experience the famous SkyBridge decked out in lights, as well as perhaps a visit from Santa Claus! 1. What to Expect

The Lights Over Gatlinburg event at Gatlinburg SkyPark is a family friendly celebration of the holidays with spectacular light displays, including a “Tunnel of Light” across the record-breaking Gatlinburg SkyBridge! This is the longest pedestrian cable bridge in North America and stretches nearly 700 feet across a deep valley in a single span! The event also features many festive backgrounds for family photos, including a huge 38 foot tall Christmas tree! Don’t miss the incredible nighttime views of downtown Gatlinburg, where you can see the holiday lights of Winterfest shine below! Santa Claus will be at the event too on select dates in December, so have the kids ready to tell Old Saint Nick what they want for Christmas this year!

2. Ticket Information

Gatlinburg SkyLift ParkYou’ll be excited to know that Lights Over Gatlinburg is included with your ticket to Gatlinburg SkyPark! With a purchase of an online SkyPass, you can take in the views by day and then return that night to enjoy the lights. This makes the Gatlinburg SkyPark the best value in town throughout the holiday season! Your SkyPass also includes unlimited rides on the SkyLift, an iconic chairlift ride that transports you from downtown Gatlinburg to the top of Crockett Mountain. Once on the mountain, enjoy other attractions such as the SkyBridge, SkyTrail, Tulip Tower, SkyDeck and the SkyCenter!

3. Hours of Operation

Gatlinburg SkyPark is open daily throughout the holiday season from 9 AM to 9 PM, but closes at 4 PM on Christmas Eve and is closed all day on Christmas Day. Note that the closing time represents the ticket booth hours and the top of the mountain closes one hour after the posted closing times. If you purchase/redeem your admission tickets after 8 PM, you will also receive SkyPark access the very next day until closing time! This is only applicable for those guests with the online “SkyPass” and the on-site Unlimited Visits tickets.
